激光的运用经过几十年的发展已经越来越成熟,给全球制造业,特别是钣金加工行业带来了巨大的变化。光纤激光切割机已经从工业领域走进了我们的生活,其适用切割的材料也越来越多。但是在使用光纤激光切割机切割不同材料时,采用的切割方法也要做适当的调整,以达到理想的切割质量

一、不锈钢切割

切割不锈钢金属板材一般采用氮气,防止氧化,无毛刺边缘,几乎不用后处理便可直接焊接,根据不锈钢材料特性可以加速液体的流动性,使切割效率更高更快。而采用氧气进行切割的效果可能要比氮气差,造成端面发黑、不光滑等现象。

二、碳钢切割

激光切割碳钢时一般采用氧气会得到较好的效果。利用氧气反应热大幅面提高切割效率的同时,产生的氧化膜还会提高反射材料的光束光谱吸收因数。采用氧气加工时,有一个问题是边缘可能会发生轻微氧化,如果要求较严格的用户可以采用氮气进行高压切割,当然也可以通过给工件表面涂油以达到更好的切割效果。

三、铝切割

铝是金属材料中的高反材料,它具有高反射率和热传导性。近年来许多生产厂家的激光切割机都通过安装“防反射装置”来适应铝材切割,采用不具备“防反射装置”的激光切割机会使得其光学组件受到损毁。同时,根据设备的功率不同,切割铝材的厚度也不同。一般来说同一设备切割不锈钢和碳钢的厚度要比铝材等高反材料的厚度要厚。铝材同样更适合用氮气进行切割,切割效果好端面较光滑。

四、铜和黄铜切割

与铝一样,铜与黄铜属于高反材料,需要采用“防反射装置”的激光切割机进行切割。厚度1mm以下的黄铜可以用氮气切割;厚度2mm以下的铜可以切割。
